How much does a Next.js website cost? (2026 pricing guide)
Realistic price ranges for Next.js + Sanity sites, migrations and speed fixes, and what makes a project cost more.
Prices online range from $300 to $50,000 for “a Next.js website”, which isn’t helpful. Here is how I price projects as a freelance developer, so you can budget realistically.
Typical ranges from my work
- Speed and Core Web Vitals fix on an existing page: from about $500
- Small Next.js + Sanity marketing site (5–8 pages): from about $800
- Figma to Next.js build of a full marketing site: from about $1,200
- WordPress to Next.js + Sanity migration: from about $1,500
- Ongoing development and support: $35/hour
What increases the price
- Number of unique page templates (not number of pages)
- Amount of content to migrate and how messy it is
- Custom integrations: CRM, payments, booking, APIs
- Multiple languages
- Complex animations or interactive tools
What keeps it affordable
- A finished Figma design (or a clear reference site)
- Content ready before development starts
- One decision-maker giving feedback
- Reusing sections across pages instead of designing every page differently
Running costs after launch
Many business sites run on Vercel’s and Sanity’s free plans. You pay for a domain, and optionally for an email service for contact forms. Compare that with managed WordPress hosting plus premium plugin licences every year.

The fastest way to a real number is to send me your current site or Figma link and a short list of what you need. I reply with a fixed quote, usually within a few hours.
