Privacy policy

This site is run by Sagar Bharvadiya, a freelance developer based in Ahmedabad, India · works with US, UK, EU & AU time zones. I collect as little as I can, never sell your data and never use it for anything except replying to you and improving this site. Questions or deletion requests: sagarbharvadiya@gmail.com.

What I collect

• Contact form: your name, email, website, project type, budget and message. Along with it, the page you first landed on, the site that sent you here (for example Google or LinkedIn), your IP address and the approximate city and country it maps to. This helps me reply in your time zone and see which pages bring in enquiries, and it helps me spot spam.
• Free speed audit: the website address you test and its score. If you ask for the full report, your name and email too.
• Chat assistant: your questions are sent to an AI provider to generate an answer. I don’t store chat conversations.
• Analytics: Google Analytics records anonymous usage such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location and how you found the site. It uses cookies for this.

Why (legal basis)

Replying to an enquiry you sent is a step before a possible contract. Analytics, spam protection and knowing which pages work are my legitimate interest in running a small business website. You can object to any of it by emailing me.

Who processes it

• Netlify: hosts the site and handles requests.
• Sanity: stores form submissions and audit results in a private dataset.
• Resend: delivers form notifications and the confirmation email.
• Google Analytics: site statistics.
• Anthropic, Google (Gemini) and Groq: generate chat assistant answers.
• Google PageSpeed Insights and Microlink: run the speed audit and take a screenshot of the tested site.

Some of these providers are in the United States, so your data may be processed outside the EU/UK. They use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

How long I keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to two years so I can follow up on a project, then deleted. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how it’s used. Email sagarbharvadiya@gmail.com and I’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

The only cookies are Google Analytics ones (names starting with _ga). You can block them in your browser or with Google’s opt-out add-on; the site works the same without them.
